We live in Ohio, but my sister who resides in Virginia has been with us for the past week. She suffers from cancer and had an appointment at Cleveland Clinic. We were told her home was flooded... water going everywhere. My sister asked me to call Nuckols, which I did, and they were out immediately. Albert and his helper worked tirelessly to find the leak. We received pictures of the water damage and noted the incredible work that they did in going into the walls to find the leak. We spoke with Albert, who took the time to explain in detail that they found the problem. My niece's boyfriend had disconnected some hoses behind the washer and did not reconnect them properly. We have talked with Nuckols since, and they have been beyond fabulous in working with us. I only wish we had a Nuckols here in Akron, Ohio!! If it was possible, I would give them 10 stars!

Nuckols is the best plumbing company I've come across since living in Richmond. The technicians are always on time, courteous, and take the time to explain to you exactly what the issue is. Their pricing seems fair, and they are very transparent and upfront about what the bill will look like. I've had them out to do major sewer repair, and most recently Steve F and Albert came to clear a blockage in the main line. They encouraged me to watch while they used the inspection camera so I could see the condition of the pipes for myself, and make the most informed decisions. I recommend Nuckols to anyone that needs plumbing work done.

We keep coming back to Nuckols for plumbing and HVAC work. They’re helpful and communicative, taking the time to explain things and weigh options while accounting for cost. They’ve even referred us to a former employee who started his own business when our AC broke around July 4th, days before we were going out of town, and they were booked up till after we’d leave. Today Dan P. fixed our upstairs bathroom sink which had a drip and a leak, and he was great. Professional, pleasant, informative, and even arrived early (after confirming that was okay of course😁).

From beginning to end I was so pleased with the service provided. After having been told it would be two weeks from the first plumbing company recommended to me, I looked online and found Nuckols. They had many good reviews, so I took a shot! Our kitchen sink was backed up. I couldn’t believe it when they had availability the next day. That could be good and/or bad, but it was all good. Dan P. was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Worrying that the backup could be the worst-case scenario, Dan went under the house (ugh) and cleaned the drain out. Second time was a charm, and I am so thankful he tried it one more time instead of just telling us we needed some huge repair that would have been unnecessary. I woke up earlier this week to water all over my bathroom floor…as a single mom, with 2 little humans, and about zero knowledge of anything plumbing, I obviously turned to Google…Nuckols was my first & only call. If I could give 10 stars, I would; but 5 will have to suffice…the woman that answered the phone was so sweet and immediately put me at ease, saying she had just the person to help me out…I then talked to the service manager, Jeff, who was amazing…he didn’t just send his guys, then a bill; he explained what the issue was (over the phone w/ pictures), gave me options, and had his guys at my house later that afternoon…the guys were friendly and professional…they fixed the issue, cleaned up after themselves, and even let my son “help” out because what little boy doesn’t love plumbers😊 I also never felt like I was being over-charged or taken advantage of (which you know, sometimes happens when you’re a girl asking for help with something like this) and I actually ended up paying way less than I thought I was going to!!! Thanks Nuckols & team, you saved the day this week!

We called with a leaking toilet in our studio and they had someone out within 15 minutes, assessed the situation, cleared the backup, and resealed and caulked our toilet all before the close of day. Completely clogged sink Fri morning. I had collected a few go-to plumbing companies' numbers off of the Nextdoor site over the years. Started down the list around 8:20 AM, one place said they could get to me next week "sometime," another place said they could get to it over the weekend but weekend prices would be applied, the next company had a fandangled robotic answering service that was a lot like someone calling out bingo, no time for games so the next number was Nuckols Plumbing, a human answered and explained that Albert would be at my house between 11 and 1 to solve my problem and that's exactly what took place. Albert texted that he was on the way and arrived at 11:30. He was polite, focused and explained the details of what needed to be done, how much it would cost, and the mission was accomplished by 1:00. He also explained all the other Nuckols services available. Highly recommended and their number will remain at the top of my list.

Water Heater Replacement. The plumber was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He and his assistant were very easy to get along with. The plumber thoroughly checked my water heater prior to replacement to make sure I really did need a new one. I pretty much knew from research and prior experience that I did need a replacement, but I appreciated that they didn't just do the work without checking first. They were prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. Very fair pricing. The two people in the office I spoke to prior to making my appointment were also super friendly and helpful. I need to have some work done on my HVAC system, and I will definitely be giving these guys a call!
